Lady Gaga and her mother Cynthia Germanotta founded ‘The Born This Way Foundation’ (BTWF), an American non-profit organization in 2011. The foundation is going to release a book about bravery and kindness.
An account of simple and daily acts of courage and kindness
Channel Kindness will contain the first-person accounts of simple and daily acts of courage and kindness. It will also include “personal notes of empowerment” from Lady Gaga herself.
Macmillan imprint Feiwel and Friends will publish the book simultaneously in The US and The UK on September 22, 2020.
Lady Gaga tweeted that she, along with her mom, wanted the foundation to follow the outlook and experiences of young people. She added, “I can’t wait for you to read the powerful stories from amazing young people in #ChannelKindness.”
The pop superstar and her mother Cynthia Germanotta founded the BTWF, with the aim to promote the wellness of young people.
Talking to PRESS AND JOURNAL Lady Gaga said: “Channel Kindness is an embodiment of the everyday acts of kindness that uplift community and instills a sense of hope in each of us. If it inspires one act of kindness, then we’ve accomplished our mission. We can’t do it alone, and here is a book that shows we aren’t.”
Jean Feiwel, the publisher of Feiwel and Friends, said to PRESS AND JOURNAL: “We are excited and proud to be working with Born This Way Foundation and Lady Gaga. Channel Kindness is more than a book, it is a gift. It is an anthem. It is an embrace.”
The power of kindness
The Pop star’s mother and the foundation’s president said that both she and her daughter believe in the power of kindness and the ability of the youth to transform this world. Lady Gaga is associated with philanthropic activities. Her latest venture through her charity arm is one more addition to her philanthropic and doing good activities. We hope she continues to win the heart of the American public with her good deeds.
Goodness and kindness are two super important things to spread to others. This is a great way to share those experiences with others… to inspire others to do good. If you know of other great stories and would like to share those, leave us a note in the comments.
