Oklahoma oil companies have been struggling during this pandemic.

Enid Oil Company keeping its employees employed while supporting the community

Marsau Enterprises have found a way to keep employees while helping their community. News on 6 reports that crews installed bleachers, fixed fences, and power washed buildings and buses at Crescent Public Schools.

“It feels really good. There’s a lot of people in need right now, and we’re all here to help,” Marsau Enterprise Supervisor Abraham Alatorre said.

The community has been dealing with disappointment with all the COVID issues. Crescent Public Schools Athletics Director Shawn Booth said it was a great thing to see people stepping up. The company painted classrooms and did maintenance for Pleasant Vale Elementary School and other schools across the state.

“When they first called, I didn’t really know what it would amount to,” Pleasant Vale Elementary School Principal Larry Coonrod said. “Kind of just went in without a plan, but they were eager every day.”

Employees help to better the community

Marsau Enterprise is another company that is keeping their employees paid by doing community improvements. They enjoy the work and are thankful to still have an income. Their community work is very different from their day-to-day work. “If someone calls us and gives us some idea of what they may need or someone that needs it, we are more than willing to help,” Kelly told Enid News & Eagle.

“We’ve picked up trash along the roads, we have cleaned up lots, whatever it takes.”Marsau crews have done multiple work including moving bleachers at Hillsdale Christian School, assisted with the expansion project at Pleasant Vale Elementary School and installed new turf at Anew Church.
