A ‘cheesy’ gesture at the time of a global crisis

Domino’s aims to reach up to all those who are in dire need. Their aim is to feed all the hungry people during this pandemic. They are even looking out for people or localities that need food.

This is the time when each individual can come forward and do good to others in whatever way they can. Domino’s has however chosen this very commendable way. It is undoubtedly a very ‘cheesy way’ to do good to all the health workers, grocery workers and all the people striving to help people in distress.

The NY Post quoted Russell Weiner, Domino’s chief operating officer as saying, “We have a long history of feeding people during times of crisis and uncertainty.” “When we were looking at how we could help, we knew we could use the reach of our national brand to make a difference in thousands of local neighborhoods.” He added.

A conjoined effort of all the outlets

This effort of Domino’s has gained momentum. Domino’s 6,126 outlets across the United States will be participating in this program.

Pat Farmer, Seattle area Domino’s franchisee says that they have empowered their managers to search for places where they can distribute pizzas. Pizzas will be offered to all the families, neighborhoods and localities that are in distress.

This is a very powerful way for Domino’s to show their love for the communities they serve. People from all over the States have been encouraged by this do good company spreading kindness in these strange times.
