One of many roadblocks for folks who wish to adopt a dog could be the fees that are included with it. However, good people have stepped up and covered people’s pet adoption fees. Moreover, after the Super Bowl, Kansas City Chief defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi covered pet adoption fees for 109 animals from his local animal shelter.
Coors Light connecting singles with canines ready to be adopted
Now the good deed will be done by Coors Light. They’re encouraging people to adopt your pet dog, by offering to foot the bill. Moreover, Coors Light volunteered to cover for approximately 1,000 dog adoptions across the country, between February 4th to the 21st. Therefore, the beer brand is covering as much as $100 for every rescued canine. This will result in a lot more than $100,000 worth of free adoptions.
Moreover, Coors Light was hoping that singles throughout the Valentine’s Day holiday, could find some canine companionship. “This Valentine’s Day, trade-in your awkward date for a fresh companion – and the adoption fees are on us!” a tweet from Coors Light said.

Coors Light looking to counter’cuffing season’
The contest is made to counter the cultural phenomenon known as “ Cuffing Season ,” where people strike up relationships throughout the cold winter months to “stave off the weather-induced blues,” according to a Coors Light statement .
“With almost half the millennials planning in which to stay on Valentine’s Day, we wanted to simply help empower people to savor your day with Coors Light and your pet dog by their side,” said Chelsea Parker, marketing manager at Molson Coors.
WFLA reports that participants were required to submit a photograph of these adoption receipt by texting it to 28130 combined with the phrase COORS4k9. Contestants must be 21 years or older and also have a Venmo account.
