THIS IS THE WEEK!
Do Good Talks 2025 begins one week from today, on May 9, and if you haven’t registered yet do it now.

It doesn’t get any simpler than that, and we really want to see you there.
We have people coming from Tennessee, from Illinois, from Alabama, and from California. There are people in every one of those states who do good, and who want to do more good. (One friend from Nevada thought about coming, but is going to Italy instead. I had no comeback for that!)
What is everyone coming to hear? They will be there to hear leaders in various industries, from sales to music, from high tech to high finance, and from education to entrepreneurship talk about doing good.
But you have to be there to experience it. In these days of streaming, we still want this to be a personal, see-the-people-live and maybe-even-meet-them experience. Too many times the speakers are on stage and then gone. That’s not our plan.
Though one or two speakers might have other engagements that keep them from hanging around, most speakers will be around for the duration, and a couple will even be doing breakout sessions.
Check out these speakers
Last week I wrote about four of our speakers, and you can read about them by clicking this link.
Those include Brian Mueller, Tracy Hanson, Jonathan Qiang Li, and Tye Dutcher. Just the four of them are worth… no, any one of them is worth the $39 registration fee.
It’s a world class bargain to be sure. And to make it even better, we’ll also hear from these folks.
Barry Landis made his way to Nashville as part of a group, so he understood entertainers and buses and being on the road. But he also understood that music was a business, and he gravitated to that. His background in helping artists find their audience and make their mark is amazing.
He worked in the publishing industry with a little company called Simon & Schuster. Later he moved into the record industry, where he worked his way up to Vice President of Atlantic Records and head of their Christian Division. From there he became the President of Word Records, now Word Entertainment and part of Curb. If you’re not familiar with the music industry, it would be hard for me to tell you what a big deal that is. If you are familiar, I don’t need to tell you.
Not to stop there, Barry began working with a partner marketing movies. In fact his firm has marketed more than 150 movies!
Is there good in the entertainment world? There is, and much of that is due to the work of Barry’s mentor, Bob Briner. I hope he talks a little about Bob, because what he really wanted, and what Barry does, is to do good.
Another outstanding “do good” guy happens to be the Executive Pastor at Highlands Church, the venue for Do Good Talks 2025. His name is Kevin Yule, and I first met him on a golf course. Long story, so I’ll leave it alone, but we hit it off right away and I’ve been a fan for more than a decade.
A little over a year ago, a friend of mine who was fighting cancer told me he wanted me to help with his funeral. I said he’d probably outlive me, but he didn’t. As the battle continued, I learned that my old friend Kevin would also be part of that service when it happened. Last fall it did, and there we were, talking about our friend.
That’s just one way God has blessed my life with Kevin’s presence. He’s also worked with FCA and other athletes, and he has done great things in the Scottsdale community. An outstanding speaker and an even more outstanding servant, we are thrilled to have Kevin on stage this year.
Please Sir, can I have more?
Yes you can. In fact you can have one of the best sales trainers in the country, and one of the finest speakers at the same time! His name is Tod Novak, and The Novak Group has worked with Fortune 50 companies, including Microsoft and Ford. Tod is both a great sales trainer and a professional (really!) speaker.
But it isn’t the Certified Public Speaker designation you should care about, it is the inspiration and motivation you’ll come away with after listening to Tod. He hasn’t shared the essence of his talk with me, so I’m as excited as anyone to hear what he has to say. It will be, I guarantee it, outstanding.
But wait, there’s even more!
In addition to speaking, Tod has agreed to emcee the event! That is way cool, because he’ll keep it light and fun and keep us all on our toes the entire time. That’s going to be a blast.
Personally, I can’t wait to hear Tod introduce the next speaker, Lewis Greer. Yep, that’s me.
In fact I’ll be opening up the entire day-and-a-half of talks, and then I can sit back and enjoy the speakers with the rest of the audience.
What do I have to say? A pretty fair amount about doing good. I’ve had multiple careers in my work life, ranging from ministry to music and from tennis to tech. It’s been an amazing ride and has culminated in being the founder and CEO of Do Good U, which is a very cool story I’ll talk a little about at Do Good Talks.
And I’ll be hanging around the venue the entire time that we’re at Highlands Church, so I hope to get to meet many of you for the first time and many others once again.
Final word…
Sign up! And bring your friends. They will thank you, and you will be so, so glad you came and listened to these people speak. Every one of them has something to say that will make your life better.
Do good! It’s in you.
