To help the differently-abled is the noblest of all deeds, and since the person cannot repay your debt, you are repaid by God almighty. Cady Danell and her fiance, Scott, were wrapping up their weekend trip in Las Vegas when they came upon an incredible act of kindness and shared it on Facebook.

The Bible says that when you invite someone for dinner, do not invite your near and dear ones. They will invite you in return, and your debt will be repaid. Instead, invite the lame and the disabled. They cannot repay you, but God will repay you.  Therefore never lose an opportunity to do good and rest assured God will count it.

He said also to the man who had invited him, “When you give a dinner or a banquet, do not invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or rich neighbors, lest they also invite you in return and you be repaid. — Lk 14:12

Serving the differently-abled

The couple was eating at an eatery when they saw a fellow diner who was unable to talk or feed himself. It happened only for a second before a server, Blanca, and manager, Dennis stepped in and helped the man eat. The duo was not only feeding the customer but also interacted with him using a word board. By the way, they went with their chores of feeding the client, and it seemed that he was a regular customer at the eating joint.

Danell wrote on Facebook, “My heart burst open with happiness as I watched. And then tears of joy came down my face as I watched her feed him in between still providing excellent service to us & other customers. They shared conversation and laughter. I am beyond amazed at the selflessness and compassion they showed this man.”

Waitress Blanca Paredes who helped feed a long-time customer known affectionately as “Steve,” said that he had cerebral palsy and is a regular customer at the Denny’s on Las Vegas Boulevard across from the Mirage Hotel and Resort. Paredes informed that different waiters and waitresses would take turns in serving Steve. His simplicity and grit enamor all the workers at the eatery.
