As the nation slowly opens its economy after the Pandemic, some Samaritans are readying themselves to make the world a better place after the Pandemic.

Serving During Lockdown

She created Modern Love Community and is serving hundreds of vegan meals to help her neighbors who are struggling financially.

Talking to Spectrum News, NY1, she said, “We saw it as an opportunity to bring in some of our staff who had lost their jobs and get them working again.”

The meals cost $2 and served on Thursdays. However, you have to sign up on Wednesday nights.

Moskowitz continued to Spectrum News, NY1, “We have been able to work with other community groups who are working towards the same goal of getting delicious, amazing, nutritious food to people who need it. We can feed our old customers who may have lost their jobs. We’re able to feed new customers who want that swanky vegan comfort food.”

Isa has also joined hands with the vegan relief organization ‘Chilies on Wheels,’ They are serving meals on Fridays and Saturdays.

How will the world look after the Pandemic?  Who can be better than the children who will pick up the reins of this great nation later?
